Shelf Care was initially conceived as a project to give gamers a chance to unwind and focus on themselves for a bit. The idea for a coloring book was an instant fit - something you can do in any amount of time you have, doesn't take a lot of space or special tools, perfect for a cup of tea and some soothing beats on the speakers. Shelf Care was created to let gamers enjoy a little tranquility and be immersed in a different way in one of their favorite hobbies.
Additionally, the creators wanted a way to celebrate art in the board game industry. The work of individual artists in this space adds so much to a game - from getting it noticed on the shelves of your FLGS to adding atmosphere to gameplay.
