World Cup Logistics

Our downtown Vancouver store is 2 blocks away from the World Cup - Vancouver venue, so... it's going to be an exciting month.

 

Match Days

The times below indicate game starts. Spectators will start loading into the stadium 3 hours before this time, and will depart between 2 and 4 hours after.

• Sat, June 13 - 9:00 pm start
• Thu, June 18 - 3:00 pm start
• Sun, June 21 - 6:00 pm start
• Wed, June 24 - 12:00 noon start
• Fri, June 26 - 8:00 pm start
• Thu, July 2 - 8:00 pm start
• Tue, July 7 - 1:00 pm start

 

Transit

Stadium-Chinatown Skytrain station will be OPEN on match days.

The lower station exit (by Costco) will be CLOSED on match days, but you can still get to the mall via the middle station exit at the Keefer Place stairs or the upper exit on Beatty Street.

 

Driving

Drivers should avoid the area on match days - it'll be local access only with pre-approved passes and traffic will no doubt be awful. Just take transit or something.

 

On Foot

Spectator pedestrian traffic coming from the downtown core will be directed eastbound along Keefer Street, adjacent to the International Village Mall, so be prepared for more sidewalk traffic too.
