In Tabletop Inc players take on the role of board game publishers collecting the perfect mix of artwork, components, and mechanisms to build the greatest board games in the world. Enter an alternate 1970s where Mumans and humans have co-existed for millennia. The mix of human ingenuity and muman industriousness has created a new golden age of tabletop games, and you are in the right place at the right time.
As CEO of a board game production company, you will be assigning your workers to jobs across a fabulous board game factory. Hiring Specialists, crafting components, and manufacturing mechanisms all in a bid to publish the most popular games, win tabletop awards and, of course gain victory points. Tabletop Inc offers a novel take on the worker placement mechanism where players are rewarded for paying attention to and predicting the actions of their opponents.
On your turn you will be placing your workers to specific jobs, hiring new specialist employees with unique powers, building board games from components, artwork, and mechanisms, and submitting your games for prestigious awards. Tabletop Inc is board game all about board games!
Tabletop Inc is a fast-paced worker placement style game which is quick to learn but offers a rich depth of experience in the gameplay. A huge design emphasis was placed on replayability. With multiple paths to victory, a wide player count, and nearly 70,000 unique starting conditions, no two games will ever be the same!
This is a PREORDER item. It should be available for in-store pickup or shipping in Fall 2026.
Preorder FAQs
A preorder lets you reserve a copy of a game before it actually arrives. We only make copies that we're guaranteed to get available for preorder - the number of available copies shown above is the number of copies that haven't been claimed yet.
If a preorder is sold out, it means all of the copies we've been guaranteed so far have been claimed. But there's always a chance we'll be able to get more - click the "Notify me when available" button above to get an email as soon as more are released!
We cannot guarantee any product's arrival date. We'll give you a best guess, as given to us by distributors and publishers, but these may be (and often are) subject to changes and delays.
The stock listed for preorder items is the number of copies we'll be receiving that have not yet been claimed.
For example, if we are expecting to receive 20 copies of an item and 12 have already been preordered by other customers, our site will show 8 copies available - even though they aren't physically in our store yet.
There are a few places where our website says these items are “in stock” - these are artifacts of our website platform and the wording is unfortunately out of our control. Rest assured, we aren’t holding out on you!
Almost certainly yes. We make every effort to avoid over-promising products, so we only take preorders for the quantities we have confirmed from our suppliers.
In extremely rare cases a supplier may short us on our order due to a production or allocation error. When this happens we will honour preorders in the order we received them and contact customers to advise them of the situation and make things right.
We will hold the shipment until everything has arrived. Once everything in your order is present and accounted for, we’ll send them all in one package. If you prefer to ship the items separately, please contact us at hello@raincity.games and we can help you out.
We will make your items ready as soon as we can - we will email you when the in-stock items are ready for pickup, then send you another email when the preorder item arrives.

Note that this policy does NOT apply to any preorders for TCG products or for Magic: The Gathering singles due to their constantly fluctuating values.
