A Storm Gathers Overhead
Brazil has long been a haven for androids, with human rights extended to both clones and bioroids within its borders. Legislation has been introduced into the Brazilian parliament that would strip bioroids of those very rights and protections. This €œAutomata Initiative € would remove their legal personhood from the constitution and cement the status of bioroids as robots without soul or sentience. With tensions building between corporate meddlers, a protesting populace, and sympathetic Runners, the stage is set for a conflict that questions the very nature of what it means to be a person.
The Automata Initiative is an expansion compatible with Netrunner, the asymmetric competitive card game. In this pack you will find 4 new identities, plus 183 cards (3 copies each of 61 different cards).
Play as Runners, diverse hackers fighting for a cause or personal interests during a time of turmoil and unrest, or as Corps advancing their hidden agendas to exploit an opportunity they did not anticipate.
