The details
- Our sale is limited to 400 games total / 10 items max per person. Our Spring 2025 sale is now full!
- The sale will be conducted through our website AND in-store at our Vancouver location.
- Rain City Games will not inventory games - sellers must self-report and buyers understand this is an as-is situation.
- Expansions generally must be bundled with their base games. New this year - Expansions from the following titles may fly solo:
- Catan
- Ticket to Ride
- Carcassonne
- Wingspan
- 7 Wonders
Sellers receive 50% of the sale price in cash or 80% in store credit - whatever that price is when the game finally sells.
To submit games
BEFORE dropping off items
- Inventory each game and identify any missing pieces
- Click here to submit this information in our online form - our sale is now full!
- Email 1 photo of each game exterior to [email protected]
- Please wait for confirmation from us before bringing in your games - we have to do some prep work before you arrive!
At drop-off - April 7 to April 17 only, please!
Rain City Games staff will:
- Confirm drop-offs match what was submitted on the form
- Review baseline price (MSRP or other) with seller
- Confirm that the seller’s photos match what is received

As is tradition, the discounts deepen as the sale progresses:
- Friday 4/18 - midnight to 3pm - 30% off baseline price
- Friday 4/18 - 3pm to midnight - 40% off
- Saturday 4/19 - midnight to 3pm - 45% off
- Saturday 4/19 - 3pm to midnight - 50% off
- Sunday 4/20 - midnight to 3pm - 60% off
- Sunday 4/20 - 3pm to midnight - 70% off
Please note that all Used Game Sale items will be available for purchase online and in-store simultaneously. Whoever purchases the item first becomes the owner of the item, even if someone else is physically holding the item in-store.
So don't play chicken with prices for too long - someone might snag the game you want!
The owners of any unsold games will have the option to either pick up their unsold games or have Rain City Games donate them to one of the various charities we work with throughout the year.
