Lorcana events in Vancouver are held 11:30 am - 3:30 pm on Saturdays - please choose your preferred date and play format in the dropdown above!
We start our events on time. Please make every effort to be at the store, ready to play at 11:30. If you are running late, please call us to let us know. Players who are excessively late may be dropped from the event without refund.
If you are unable to attend an event, Rain City Games reserves the right to charge a $10 credit card processing fee when refunding your ticket. Please only purchase an event ticket if you actually plan on attending the event!
Our Into the Inklands Store Championship is open for registration! If you rock the competition and come out as one of the top players, you’ll head home with not only bragging rights, but enviable prizes featuring Stitch – Rock Star. These events are a fun way to challenge other Illumineers and better your own skills. As always, give your best effort, treat others with respect, and have fun!
The tournament takes place on Saturday, April 27 at 11:30 AM. Please plan to arrive sometime between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM to check in. Late arrivals may be dropped from the tournament without notice or refund.
This is a long tournament. The first phase of swiss rounds is expected to take approximately 5 hours. The top cut phase is expected to take approximately 3 hours. Please plan accordingly!
Registration is $25.
Note that the Vancouver and New West events will run simultaneously, so please only purchase tickets for one event or the other. You cannot make it to both.
The tournament is constructed, so please bring a legal deck (details below). We will play 5 swiss paired rounds and then cut to the top 8. The top 8 finalists will then play single elimination until a winner is determined.
All games - both swiss rounds and top cut - will be best of 3 in 50-minute rounds. All games will be played as 1-vs-1.
At the end of the 5th swiss round, all participants will receive 1 booster pack and a promo card (selection TBD).
The top 8 finalists will receive additional booster packs based on their final standings.
The overall winner will receive an exclusive Stitch - Rock Star Champion playmat. The second place finisher will receive a Stitch - Rock Star playmat. The top 4 finishers will receive alternate art Stitch - Rock Star promo cards.
This tournament is in the Constructed (Core) format. Each player must bring one deck to the event which they have built ahead of time. Constructed decks must contain at least 60 cards. There is no maximum deck size, but a player must be able to shuffle their deck in a timely manner without assistance.
Constructed decks must not contain cards from more than two ink colors. For example, if a deck contains Amber and Amethyst cards, it must not contain any Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, or Steel cards.
Constructed decks must not contain more than four of a single card as identified by its full English card name. Character cards with different subtitles are considered different cards for purposes of this rule. For example, a deck may contain up to four copies of Ariel – On Human Legs as well as up to four copies of Ariel – Spectacular Singer.
Cards from The First Chapter, Rise of the Floodborn, and Into the Inklands are legal for play in this tournament. You must use the same deck for the duration of the event. Decklist registration TBD.

In a Booster Draft, each player receives 4 Lorcana Booster Packs, opens them up one by one, and drafts the cards inside with the whole table. Players will then select 40 of their 48 cards to make a deck and ignore all standard structure rules - making for some interesting combos you won't find anywhere else!

The Lorcana Booster Draft is a great way to build your collection and try out cards from the full range of ink colours Lorcana has to offer.
Because we offer a fairly casual environment at Rain City Games, all players will receive prizing in random order. Prizing may include additional booster packs, promo cards exclusive to official organized play events, opportunities to purchase highly sought-after Lorcana products, and other whosits and whatsits galore!
Chaos drafts are the same as regular booster drafts, except that you'll start with a mix of packs from multiple Lorcana sets, creating opportunities for some really unusual combinations!
