Riftbound TCG has spawned! Join other League of Legends fans for some in-store games at our downtown Vancouver location.
Players must have a Riot account that is connected to the Riftbound platform, which is in turn connected to Carde.io. It's... not a great system, frankly. Please follow these instructions to ensure you will be able to play with us. Note that you will not be able to find Rain City Games events in the events locator; if you follow the instructions, you'll be fine when you arrive.
This debut event will be a modified deck format - every player will receive 1 preconstructed Champion deck (faction will be chosen to match the random Champion you open in your prize pack) plus 2 booster packs. You'll open those packs and modify your deck as you see fit using the cards you find inside, then play a round robin tournament against other players. And after that... prizes!
Release Event prizing will include 2 additional booster packs per person, plus other goodies!
Nexus Nights are drop-in events where you can meet other Riftbound players and test-drive your latest deck designs. Although there will be a tournament structure with swiss round pairings, the event is a casual one with prizing based on participation, not standings. Every participant will receive 1 booster pack.
Summoner Skirmish events give a taste of competitive play!
Prizing will include - but won't be limited to! - participation promos for all players, plus additional promos for players who reach the top 8. The overall winner also receives a Champion playmat and a Round 1 bye at a Regional Qualifier event.
We start our events as close to the listed start time as possible. A late event start means everyone else - players and staff alike - will be held late too, which isn't fair to anyone. As such, Rain City Games reserves the right to penalize and/or drop players who are late for events without possibility of a refund.
Attendees can cancel (and be refunded for) event registrations up to 24 hours prior to the listed event start time. If you need to cancel your event reservation, contact the store and we'll sort things out.
